I've recently ordered a one time programmable EPRom that holds 16 bits of data instead of 8. This IC allowed me to free up both 16x8 bit EEPRoms from my initial Hello World project.
Additionally, by condensing the 2 EEPRoms into 1 reduced complexity and appears much more clean and manageable. Imagine if I only ordered a Common Cathode 16 Segment LED [ sigh ].
